“The use of plastic enclosures or enclosures poses problems of shielding or discharge of electrostatic discharges (ESD) and Cem shielding. The proposed product is a special metal screen
complex. It consists of 35 µm copper foil laminated with 25 µm polyester film. A second polyester film can be applied on the 2° side, as well as an adhesive according to the customer’s need. Copper ensures a very good attenuation of electromagnetic fields and a flow of electrostatic charges also. Polyester provides mechanical resistance and electrical insulation (5KV breakdown voltage) which allows this product to be placed in contact with the elements to be protected without the need for electrical insulation. Once cut this product can be used flat or folded or preformed by us to form a volume.”
