AB2E sheaths are shielding sheaths designed to be wrapped around cables (or harnesses) requiring increased EMC protection because they are sensitive to radio interference radiated by other equipment. They are particularly suitable for retrofitting products already installed on site. The materials used for these ducts are self-extinguishing, UV, ozone and weather resistant. Easy to open and close, this type of sheath allows easy addition and removal of cables. One of the most common uses is Shielded Room Cem testing. Indeed, cables can be brought in/ out of the shielded enclosure. To prevent external radiated waves from entering the RF shielded room, this “sock” prevents them from entering the RF shielded room.
